by Dave Holman Per the minutes from the Guilford Inland Wetlands Commission meeting on 8/14/24, Pustola Associates (representing the APT Foundation) submitted a proposal to relocate the wetlands at 417 Boston-Post-Road (the property abutting 439 Boston-Post Road where APT plans to open an addiction clinic). This proposal would replace an existing “Cease and Correct Order” issued on 11/23/21 to the former owner of the property, to restore these wetlands to their original condition after woodchips had been dumped into these wetlands illegally....

I live in Guilford on a short, dead-end street with a cul-de-sac. On July 4th, I displayed a 12”x18” lawn banner which said “Trump 2024, Keep America Great” with an American flag on it. At the time, it was the first Political sign in my neighborhood. Today my house is surrounded by multiple Harris/Walz signs. One of them says “We’re Not Going Back, Harris for President”....

In an interview with the CT's Mirrors John Dankowsky, Secretary of the State Stephanie Thomas addressed the new absentee ballot proposed amendment to the state constitution. She also remarked on the beliefs surrounding election and ballot fraud in 2020. The current proposed amendment is not on the SOTS portal page. Evidently voters will have to decide, from the very brief time they see the question and explanation at the polls, to the time they exit.

It’s quite telling to see the unbridled optimism coming from Representative Matt Blumenthal, regarding the proposed "No excuse" amendment to appear on the ballot in November.
