🚨PSA to business owners, VAs don’t replace copywriters, graphic designers, and social media managers!
As a professional in the online sphere I’m in a lot of Facebook groups and forums, and I am consistently shocked how often busienss owners ask for a VA who can “do it all”.
Admin, customer service, copywriting, graphic design, website management, sales, and social media.
🗣THOSE ARE ALL DIFFERENT JOBS!
That’s like going to a restaurant and expecting one person to run the host stand, take your order, cook the food, make your drink, buss the table, and manage the customer experience.
It’s not realistic, especially if you’re not willing to pay a full, well-compensated salary.
Especially when it comes to copywriting, graphic design, and social media management — these are specialized skills.
People dedicate their education and careers to becoming experts.
For example, someone who answers daily emails and someone who specializes in email marketing are doing completely different jobs at completely different levels.
Most online companies need to have a team member for each of the following:
➡️A Virtual Assistant for admin and scheduling
➡️A copywriter for blogs, email marketing, captions, content creation, and website copy.
➡️A graphic designer for graphics, layout, and content creation.
➡️A social media manager for growing your account and engagement.
➡️A sales and customer service team member who specializes in selling your programs.
… but one person should not be expected to take on all of these roles.
If you’re a business owner needing to outsource but you don’t have a budget to take on an entire team, I recommend hiring professionals on a project-by-project base.
You can often find freelancers who will provide packages and rates for a batch of content.

In 2020 I was put in a situation where I either needed to work remotely or I was going to have to move back in with my parents in my hometown. 😳
So amongst my obsessive cover writing and job applying I decided to create a single page website offering copywriting services.
One thing led to another, and before I knew it, I had clients booked out for the entire year and I had a full-time online business to run.
Here’s the step-by-step process of what I did ⬇️
✨ I created a website that showcased my skills, my style, and was very specifically designed for an ideal client.
✨ I created an offer that I could sell. At first that was just copywriting services, then it turned into website design, content creation, and business coaching.
✨ I developed a launch strategy around promoting my services in an authentic, value-driven way. I also connected with my audience on social media and Facebook groups.
✨ I continued to grow and develop my brand so that I could charge higher prices and take on more luxury clients.
I did this with value-rich content creation and organic marketing.
All of these elements worked together to allow me to comfortably leave my job and be a full time business owner and NOT move back home with my parents. 😅
The thing is, is that I had to jump into this so quickly and what I did worked, but I wish I had had more time and more clarity from the beginning.
Ideally I would’ve liked about six months.
✨ To nurture my audience.
✨ Get really clear on my goals.
✨ To build more revenue streams.
Which is why I created The Whole Damn Branding Package ✨
An all inclusive, one on one, brand building experience.
Together, we will literally create a business, build an audience, and sell out your offer within six months.
Open up this program once a year for 4 people — if you’re trying to have a full-time business within this year check out the program!

What’s a branding expert?
Someone who deeply understands and executes the elements that build a brand.
➡️ Copywriting
➡️ Graphic Design
➡️ Website Design/Sales Page Design
➡️ Automation & Systems
➡️ Marketing
➡️ Lead Generation
➡️ Conversation & Sales
It’s not necessarily about being a “Jack of all trades” but more an ability to see how all of these elements work together to emulate brand identity.
People buy into how a brand makes them ✨feel✨, and I work to make sure that they have the best, most aligned experience throughout the entire business.
From the vibe of the website home page, to the Instagram stories, to the emails. It all works together for a greater goal.

Hey friends! 👋 so yesterday I talked about how I’ve been putting my health first and feeling and looking better at 26 than I did at 21.
I got a lot of questions about how and what I’m doing, so let’s get into it!
So obviously stress was plaguing my mind and manifesting in my body, so I had to do a lot of mental health around that — of which I’ll dive deeper into in another post.
On the physical health side, I was/am also dealing with some major hormone issues. I’ve always had a really hard time with menstrual health issues. I didn’t get my first period until I was 17 and ever since it’s been a battle of consistent ovarian cysts, debilitating cramps, etc.
At this point all signs point to PCOS.
Knowing that I’ve been trying different diets to nourish my body, right now I’m eating ⬇️
🥩 Red meats as often as I can
🍳 Lots of protein
🥬 Iron-rich foods
🦪 Oysters often for magnesium and zinc
Then my typical favorite health food things ⬇️
✨ @ancientnutrition collagen coffees in the morning
✨ @drinksupercoffee
✨ Staying hydrated with @liquidiv
✨ My go-to immunity packs @zipfizz
Lastly I’ve been really focusing on my workouts.
🏋️♀️ Jared and I lift weights together
🤸♀️ I’ve been doing more tricks and doing some stunting in Jared’s MotoVlog @asher_actionsports
🥊 I got to @jabzboxingscottsdaleairpark for full body workouts as often as I can
Right now is a season of really listening to my body and what it needs, and the results have been amazing. 🙌
I have a better relationship with food than I ever have. I have so much more energy, my skin looks better, my hair got longer and thicker — I look younger than I did when I was 24!
It really has been a great thing, and even if the journey to get to this point was rough, and there’s still a long way to go, I’m grateful for every step of the way. 💕
How to Generate Leads IN YOUR SLEEP! 💤
What I tell my clients when they ask how to get traffic over to their website. 👇
As a branding expert I often get asked how to drive traffic over to my client’s shiny new website once we launch it.
Here are a few things I recommend:
1. Use Pinterest. 📌
Pinterest is often a platform we forget about or use exclusively for mood boards, dream weddings, or home decor — but is actually one of THE MOST beneficial tools for bloggers.
If you’re publishing blog posts you NEED to be creating and uploading pins. I recommend @jennakutcher Pinterest Lab to learn the ins and outs, and @lifeabovelack if you want to learn how to use blogging in your marketing strategy!
2. Freebie/Free Training
Use a free offer to not only build your email list, but to get people over to your website to learn more! Let your audience fall in love with you and be interested to find out what else you have to offer!
Talk about and showcase this freebie on IG!
3. Refrain from answering questions/coaching in your DMs.
Create an FAQ section and write blog posts that answer common questions in your industry. That way when people pop in your inbox you can send them a direct link to your website!
If you’re looking to get your online platforms ready for “company” check out my online branding services!
I do website copy & design, launch strategy, and monthly content (blogs, emails, content creation, social media, etc.) Click the link in the bio to learn more!
What comes easy to you does not come easy to everyone else — stop assuming that everyone else is better than you!

As a writer and content creator it’s so natural and easy for me to write up some copy or throw together a design. Big projects (like books) don’t scare me, I understand SEO, branding just makes sense, and it’s not tedious for me to mess with a design project for hours. It’s just what I know.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Unfortunately I grew up in a place where these skills weren’t exactly celebrated. I was neither the art kid nor was I considered “smart” because I wasn’t in AP Calculus. What came easy to me was considered to be boring, outdated, and I’d always get the remark, “well how can you make money doing that?” Or my favorite, “you know you’re going to have to be like, THE BEST in the industry if you think you’re going to make a living doing this.”
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Starting my branding company proved that my skills weren’t useless, I was just surrounded by people who didn’t understand, nor could do what I did.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Being so conditioned to think this way, when I was presented with an opportunity I would automatically convince myself that there was somebody else better for the job.
Assuming I wasn’t skilled, educated, or talented enough.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Then after taking courses, and trying to learn from the “experts” I realized that it was all review for me. In addition, my services and products were more comprehensive and beneficial than what I was paying my own money for. 💡
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It also comes down to the fact that I’m willing to do what others don’t feel like learning/spending time on. Usually the copywriting, SEO, website linking, and graphics jobs.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Making my work valuable, needed, and appreciated by the right people.
