I purchased this sign shortly after buying my house, even before the paperwork was finalized. After the tornado, I found it among the debris.

Despite the devastation and heartache of the last 13 days, I still find comfort in this sign's message due to the overwhelming support from our community members who have dropped everything to help.

Although damaged, this sign remains meaningful to me as a reminder that life is indeed better at the lake.

Thank you to everyone who has come up to the lake and helped those of us in need. Today 2 guys from plain city come up because they felt the need to come help and just started working their way down the street to help clean up. It’s amazing what we can do when a community comes together!

Hey guys! It’s Brittany from Spend A Day! Let me introduce myself… I started working at Spend A Day in May of 2020 during the pandemic when there were many unknowns. I started off working on the gas dock and now I assist in sales by making videos which always start off with my typical “Hey guys! It’s Brittany from Spend A Day!” and taking customers out on their new boats to show them how to operate their boat! When I’m not being a bada** boat captain I like to be out on the water with my family and friends or traveling around the country. One cool fact about me….. I went to college for forestry so if you have any questions about trees while you’re out on the lake send them my way and I’ll tell you all about them! See you on the water!!
