KODED. Conversations - Our CORE Values

KODED. Conversation’s aim is to be a source of true authenticity in a time of constant fake news and rampant social media rumors\B.S that spread faster than dry grass wildfires. We’re here to provide you with an audio/visual atlas to see through the B.S and break any KODE.
Here are a few important things you should know from the main Host Dee:
➔ I am uninterested in hyper-mysticism or pseudo spirituality. My aim as the main host is to facilitate the breaking down of “CODES” that are sometimes dense or seemingly confusing. This confusion plagues & leaves our limited human understanding with nothing but emptiness and cognitive dissonance. Not all questions can be answered but, as a person of faith, my response is, some answers will require faith until revealed.
➔ I, along with guests, will answer questions such as:: Why are we here? Why is Jerry Springer a Judge on TV now? Is there a Creator? Why are the Kardashians so famous for absolutely nothing? Why is life full of grief? Is Kendrick Lamar the best rapper ever? Why is there war? Why did Will Smith slap Chris Rock so hard? Is it fair if we critique his sloppy slap form? I mean what was that southpaw or something? What is culture’s obsession with plastic surgery? Why is there a cancel culture? & so much more.
➔ We will also be discussing hip hop lyric breakdowns, street culture, theology, religion, psychology, philosophy, relationships, sexual wellness, holistic wellness, sports and tournament psychology, and much more!
◆ P/S: Sometimes it doesn’t feel like Lyrics get their due respect so each show we’ll pay respect to a portion of lyrics that changed our lives!.
—– Here we sit down just like the old days and by old days I mean pre-smartphones where all we all mostly had was mini sized brick shaped phones that could do nothing more but call and text.(Okay I’ll admit, it’s not that long ago lol)
Sidenote: I joke now but that phone was a heaven-sent. I can recall countless joyful hours wasted on playing a strategy game called ‘Snake’ for no extrinsic reward at all. That being far different than today’s video games which are psychologically designed to run like slot machines geared toward addictive behavior so that you’ll buy more $65+ games, not to mention add-ons.. ( Don’t worry, we’ll cover that too)
We will discuss taboo topics such as belief in heaven or hell, sexuality, marriage and relationships, spirituality, politics .
We will make sure to also stay grounded and plugged in with YOU, Our supporters! Making sure we discuss any current topics that may have arisen during the week locally or nationally.
*This is not an entertainment pop culture podcast but we will occasionally cover pop culture topics.
Just to give you a overview of WHAT TO expect:
● DO expect Dee Wright to play ‘devil’s advocate’ even in the face of apparent loss or contradiction. PLEASE know, he lives for that!
● DO expect conversation to sometimes “appear” heated or angry but be advised, everyone is compadres and any
quandaries on the show will most certainly be cleared up after with a hug and a good drink.
● Don’t expect everyone to have the same opinion and don’t expect everyone to have a different opinion. Keep an open
mind..
● Do expect to have a good time and feel like part of the conversation. As the corny Ad-Council slogan said during the
SHMOVID pandemic, “We’re alone…together.”
