Citizens of Anniston, please take note of a Zoning Informational Meeting on the city’s proposed Zoning Ordinance changes on Thursday, March 14, 2024, commencing at 5:00 PM CT in the Main Hall of the Anniston City Meeting Center (1615 Noble Street, Anniston, AL).

ℹ️ What is zoning?

➡️ refers to local laws that govern how real property can and cannot be used in certain areas of the city. For example, zoning laws can limit commercial or industrial use of land to prevent manufacturing, or other types of businesses, from building in residential neighborhoods.

A presentation will be given by Jason Fondren of the consulting firm, KPS Group. After the presentation, citizens will be allowed to submit their input on the proposed zoning plan, as well as submit questions. All input will be taken into consideration, and all questions submitted will be answered via email response after the event.
