Marr’s Field Journal, the University of Alabama’s literary and arts magazine, was created in 1989 as a forum for emerging writers and artists. This journal strives to enrich its readers by showcasing exceptional undergraduate poetry, prose, art, and music compositions. The insights of the contributing writers and artists have made Marr’s Field Journal an esteemed member of the Office of Student Me

dia and a vital part of the creative community on campus. It is published annually and offers nearly two hundred pages of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry in each issue. In addition, a compact disc is included in order to exhibit non-print media. Marr’s Field Journal also takes great pride in facilitating new creative thought on this campus. Marr’s Field Journal accepts submissions via the form on our website at mfj.ua.edu.
