We wish you a merry christmas, we wish- o snap... Elf must've gotten drunk and forgot to stick this episode in Santa's bag yesterday. Worry not it's here now!

Sorry for the long wait, life is busy and also spotify changed their rules and operations so it took me a bit longer to get the episode finalized. But enjoy, I really enjoyed this episode. Lots of laughs. Maybe some tears, definitely not me, and all in all just a good episode.

Hope you all are having a great memorial day, spending time to remember those who are no longer with us. After 8 years, I have been blessed more than others to not have lost anyone due to the struggles of combat, whether external or internal. But I do spend this day thinking about someone who helped inspire me to join the military. Someone who didn't lose his life in war, or to the war within, but to unfortunate circumstances.

Alec Norcom, I met while I was in Tech school to be a surgical technician. He was always kind, respectful and respectable. He was sometimes like a big brother which after having served I understand why. He never turned down my young, inexperienced questions about his time in the military. My favorite being about how when he was in Iraq the first time, he had gone on a long mission away from his FOB and came back after a month or so. He said he thought he had gotten tan until he went to shower and realized it was weeks of accumulated dirt and grime. He would tell me how much it sucked, and how rewarding it could be being in the army. And I guess it stuck with me because I always thought about him throughout my career. I wish I could've known you better. I had always hoped that one day I could come back home and share my stories with you. That you'd shake your head at me for choosing to be a scout and we'd have a laugh and a drink. Call me dumb for not finishing my school and joining the army in the first place. We may not have gotten to be friends long but you had a significant impact in my life and I wish you were here man.

I hope that those of you who do have someone you miss, you continue to live everyday that they no longer can and remember them today and live how they would want you to live.
