Happy Valentine’s Day! Kevin took me to the hospital this week - a complication with my autoimmune white blood cell disorder (neutropenia). I’ll be ok! Mostly, this post is about how fantastic Kevin is & I’m so happy to spend today with him.

I had major plans for Valentine’s crafts & cakes, but these older photos will have to do.

I am so lucky to have him by my side, making me laugh every day. Love you, Kevin

We’ve been home 🤧🤒, but cozy. Took a few uncurated photos of our living room before it becomes a kitchmas explosion. Social media trains us to only show the after - but rarely the during, the lived-in. ⁣

Our entire home is a design in progress. We mostly search local vintage & that makes the design process slow but fulfilling. We also only used existing nails in the wall to hang items for now so they aren’t the ideal height yet⁣

Looking for the perfect: shelving wall unit, end tables, fireplace screen, planters with plants. And maybe a Samsung Frame TV (or put the TV in the basement rumpus room). ⁣

We’ve been hard at work planning and prepping an indoor costume pool party! Pretty sure Halloween themed swim parties that also intentionally celebrate all marginalized bodies aren’t common! Lol But we feel Pittsburgh deserves something cool, spooky & welcoming to all bodies!

My holy grail! After four years of daily searches, I finally found a mid-century fireplace in my budget. This Malm will live outdoors on our patio! ⁣below I share how you can find one
