Job Description:
We are seeking experienced and driven Hip Hop Artist Managers to join our team on a commission-based arrangement. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in the industry, demonstrating their ability to find business opportunities, close deals, and propel artists to success.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the careers of hip hop artists on our roster, providing strategic guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, sponsorships, endorsements, and performance bookings.
Develop compelling presentations and pitches to showcase artists and secure deals with industry stakeholders.
Negotiate contracts, agreements, and terms on behalf of artists, ensuring favorable outcomes and protecting their interests.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with industry contacts, including record labels, promoters, producers, and other artists.
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging opportunities, and market dynamics to guide decision-making and strategy.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an artist manager or in a similar role within the hip hop industry.
Demonstrated ability to generate business and close deals effectively.
Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail in contract management.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions persuasively.
A network of industry contacts and connections to leverage for opportunities.
Passion for hip hop music and a genuine desire to support artists in their careers.
