Conway Chicago has officially released their debut EP “Maybe In The Next Life” in partnership with NCMG World and distributed globally by The Orchard. This four-track project introduces the band as one of the most emotionally charged and sonically compelling new acts in alternative rock.
The group is made up of three Chicago natives. Aidan Hargis leads with vocals and guitar, bringing a vulnerable intensity to every performance. Jake Dillon holds down the low end with dynamic bass lines, and Austin Van Johnson drives the rhythm with explosive and precise drumming. Together, they form a sound that blends raw emotion, layered guitars, and anthemic energy.
The EP features four tracks titled Still Dreaming, Not My Friend, More a More, and Spoiler Alert. Each song explores emotional disconnection, self-reflection, and letting go, giving listeners an honest look at inner battles through powerful songwriting and atmospheric production.
Zac Johnson, A&R for NCMG World, has played a crucial role in shaping the creative direction of the release. From early development to final ex*****on, his vision and mentorship helped the band refine their sound and bring this project to life with focus and purpose.
“This EP is the most honest thing I’ve ever written,” says frontman Aidan Hargis. “It’s about the thoughts that haunt you at night and the versions of yourself you have to bury just to move forward. Every song says something I couldn’t explain any other way.”
Maybe In The Next Life is now available on all major streaming platforms.
