We stayed at a hotel and went to the free breakfast buffet. There's an omelet bar but the line is so long we just ignored it and served ourselves (bagels, fruit, yogurt, juice, etc).

Imagine our surprise when we were halfway through eating and a staff member puts this on the table without a word and walks away. The "free" buffet "costs" $20 each but there's a "discount" because it's free.

We seated ourselves, served ourselves, and cleaned up after ourselves. Why in the world would we leave a tip?

Got a pedicure yesterday at a new salon.

They are offering 20% off this month while they attract new clients. Overall it was a good experience, but when I went to pay, they added on a “special service add on”…

I didn’t notice until after I paid and left a tip… when I noticed and then inquired, they said it was added because of their special 20% off promo going on right now 🙄

So much for their special discount pricing. Is my 20% tip still fair?

I’m convinced cruise ships are just social experiments at this point. I lifted the bed to plug my phone in and found THIS a $100 bill and somebody’s wallet just sitting under there like it’s part of the decor. I don’t know what’s worse, the fact that housekeeping never saw it, or that I’ve been sleeping on top of it for two nights straight. Now I’m stuck debating if I should turn it in, keep it, or check if it’s a setup. Because knowing my luck, as soon as I touch it, some hidden camera’s gonna pop out like ‘caught ya.’ This can’t be normal.
