First night ever at the Let’s check in on how it looks so far.
1) Do they charge $38 for self-parking? Yes
2). Do they have any spots in self parking? No!
3) Do they valet for $6 more? Yes
4). Do they have any spots in valet? You guessed it, NO.

Did they tell me I had to drive to another hotel to park my car and walk back to the Dolphin? Yup.

Did I suggest that the valet should go find a spot for my car and walk back to the Dolphin instead of charging me to do it? You bet I did.

Did the manager try to make things right, or give us the “Our parking is provided by a 3rd party and we don’t control it” answer?

Am I happy about staying at this hotel that is more expensive than the Flamingo Crossing hotels, and charges both a resort fee and for parking? What do you think?

BTW , when the cashier tells us it’s a 2 minute walk back and I complain about it, the Manager probably shouldn’t tell me he does it in 4 minutes.

As many people know have been my Mother’s Primary Caregiver for most of the past 2 years. For the past 11 months, Connie has been at Canterbury Tower in the Skilled Nursing Facility with the assistance of her Homecare Molly.
Friday evening March 15th, my mother suffered a catastrophic hemorrhagic stroke from which there can be no recovery. She was placed in Hospice care and moved back to Canterbury to be surrounded by family, loved ones, and friends. She peacefully passed away at 5:50 pm on Monday, March 18th. My Mother was buried in Naples, Florida on Friday, March 22nd with most of her Loved Ones in attendance in a plot next to her Mother.
Connie Mansfield lived life to its fullest was never afraid to take chances and led a life of no regrets.
