There's a great article in the latest copy of Pacific Coast Sportfishing Magazine on Mex 5 written by Pat McDonell, whom I recently accompanied on a trip to Gonzaga Bay along with multi-world record holder Chris Wheaton. I just happen to have a couple pics in there of my TWO beautiful Gulf Grouper. That's Chris next to me with his ONE fish. 😁 I have to give credit where credit is due though, Chris shared his wealth of knowledge on tackle & technique which I followed to the letter. And Captain Juan Cook of San Quintin Bay Sports Fishing, who put us on the fish.
