We started on the floor of an art class, with five friends, fifty bucks, and no idea what we were doing. After a some sandwiches, some hand guns, some very orange footage, a freak windstorm that took out home-base and a lot of how-to books, we got back in the game with zombies and poor logistics. Somehow, after the biggest project of my life crashed and burned, I still got to come back for a third
chance- and I got a new co-director out of the deal when the guy I sort-of trusted to carry bags for us became the man I trust with my actors and my life. The Making Of, the feature-film we're finishing in post right now, is a story about rogue filmmakers, awesome kids, crazy mistakes and redemption. While I and my dad finish putting together what our team of kids worked hard with us to make- and maybe breathe some life into that old zombie footage along the way- the team at Grace is still on fire and in training making our round of short films. We have dreams to change the world, to make people laugh, and point, and enjoy life a little more. A wise man once said that you can't be proud of everything you make, but you should be proud of how you made it. This is an adventure. We're learning as we go, building friendships, spaceships and rayguns, laughing a lot and praying maybe more. We make movies out of them. We hope you'll join us for the ride.
