🎥 VIDEO EDITOR - FULL TIME 📺
Greenlight Television has been producing award-winning 🏆 motoring and sports programming for the past 30 years from our production facilities on the Isle of Man, in Manchester, and Florida. 🌍
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic video editor 🎬 to join our edit team and work together with us to continue to provide world-class programming around the globe. Greenlight is a full-service production house and there will be opportunities for foreign travel ✈️ within this role. This is a full-time position.
Key skills and responsibilities for this role include:
• ✂️ Edit to a high standard to create engaging content, both short and long form.
• 🤝 Collaboration with the production and post-production team.
• 🤝 Collaboration with clients.
• 🎨 Colour correction and grading images and videos, conforming to broadcast and social standards and guidelines.
• 🎶 Sourcing music and audio tracks and sound mixing edits, creating well-mastered tracks across multiple layers.
• 🛠️ Maintaining post-production workflows.
• 📋 Work with production teams to manage projects to a high standard, adhering to Greenlight processes.
Skills and experiences we are looking for:
• 🎞️ Experience of editing, and broadcast experience would be an advantage.
• 💻 Expert level of proficiency in Grass Valley Edius, or equivalent editing package.
• 🏆 Excellent track record of working on quick turn-around, quality productions.
• 🎨 High level of proficiency in colour grading.
• 🔊 High level of proficiency in sound mixing and mastering.
• ⏰ Ability to work to tight deadlines.
• 💬 Great communication skills.
• 💡 Be able to demonstrate initiative, problem solving and creativity.
• 📷 Proficiency with camera work would be a welcome advantage.
