In less than 2 weeks the City of Tampa will have approached the 4 year anniversary of Resolution No. 568. (Google it if you do not know what it is) This Resolution was written and signed into City Legislature on Sept. 3, 2020. I received this document on Dec. 4, 2024 and nearly every week since then I have been speaking at City Council about what they put in place.

As we approach this anniversary and upon listening to the Former First Lady Michelle Obama at the DNC this week, yesterday at City Council, I ask City Council to "Do Something" about what they put in place.

I am now asking you to "Do Something" and help, rally and support the efforts behind Resolution No. 568.

A minister known for his explosive crowds and sermon sets up a tent in a small Texas city for a service one evening. Expecting to see a large crowd, he enters the tent at 7 to preach, no one is there, 8 o'clock no one there, around 8:30 a lone cowboy walks in. The preacher jumps down off the stage and says, "I don't know what happened it's suppose to be a large crowd, what do you think?" The cowboy says, "well, I'm not a preacher, I'm just a cowboy, but if I went out to feed my flock and only one showed up, I'd feed the one."
Moral of the story, don't wait to share your idea because of the large crowd, share it with whoever listens.
