Grab the tissues. The first pic came up in my memories… it was 10ish years ago when I left the classroom to try my hand at being an instructional coach. My 4th graders were super sad. This particular 4th grader is now my friend on Facebook. So I sent her the post and said “this was about you”. The second pic is her response. The universe is so funny! Sending me signs and stuff.
I also ran into a student that was in a class I subbed for last year… he remembered me and what I taught him. Wild. I spent one period with him a year ago and he remembered me.

Aside from Static Springs and Summer Splash 2022, I don’t really play breaks out because I am asked to do my progressive melodic sets or I play a variety of house at the Warehouse. I am super excited to play breaks at The Vortex tomorrow. I threw some of my absolute favorite songs in a folder from back in the day, a couple years ago when I learned to play, and this year. I truly hope everyone enjoys hearing as much as I did picking out the songs. Wooohooo!!
