If you request a song you are have made a verbal agreement that bonds you to get on the floor and dance to it, if the song approaches the halfway mark and you still haven't shake your tail feather then under article 17:B of the Bragg Events rule book I'm allowed to hit the "break" button or "rewind record effect" and transition to another song of my choice for you have broken the original agreement of shaking your rump.
