Adeleke's Ipade Imole: A Session Of Surreal Humour, Comedy

The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has warned the state Governor Ademola Adeleke to desist from constantly being a vicious source of embarrassment to the people of the state through his actions and inactions as the state Chief executive of Osun.

According to the state chairman of the party, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, in a statement issued by the party's Director of Media and Information, Chief Kola Olabisi, in Osogbo, today, the crude way that Adeleke handled his first feedback programme in eleven months tagged 'Ipade Imole' yesterday was nothing but a display of the theatre of absurdity.

Lawal observed that the totality of the conduct of Governor Adeleke throughout the duration of the programme revealed that he is ill-prepared or lacks in quantum the natural endowments required to successfully govern the state.

He stated that the time-wasting Ipade Imole which ran for several hours where Adeleke talked much without substance afforded the people of the state a golden opportunity to discover that the governor is not only an expert in dancing but he is an unrivalled political comedian who trivializes serious matters affecting the state for lack of not knowing what to do, how to do it and when to do same.

The Osun State APC chairman also observed that apart from the fact that Adeleke was superfluous and empty yesterday, the whole exercise turned out to be a tirade whereby the governor was openly demanding to be clapped for by his burdened and embarrassed audience.

Lawal stated that it was a thing of shame that Governor Adeleke ended up embarrassing himself, his political party, the PDP and the people of the state as his feedback approach to questions expressly showed that he was not properly tutored by his usual chaperone, or he refused to radiate what he was taught before the programme.

He hinted that he could not blame all the radio stations but one which yanked off the programme from their stations when it became visible that the governor could not meaningfully and concisely communicate his thought.

Lawal stated that never in the history of the state has any governor had such a poor showing in public engagement.

The state APC chairman who also accused Governor Adeleke of lack of empathy, wondered why the governor was seemingly comfortable to hold such a programme amidst singing and cracking of jokes while lives of innocent souls were being cut short in the lingering communal clash between the people of Ifon-Osun and Ilobu in about five kilometres away from the venue.

In Lawal's words: "Based on the verifiable poor scorecard of Governor Adeleke, it will not be out of tune to state that the unsuspecting people of Osun State have unwittingly entered a proverbial one chance vehicle with Adeleke on the driver's seat.

"Adeleke and his political co-travellers could be likened to metaphorical bandits who successfully snatched a vehicle key from its rightful owner but without a required skill to start the vehicle's engine let alone move it.

"Whatever the political firmament of the state may be today, there is a solace in the fact that it is a passing phase", Lawal stated.

Why Atiku Hates President Tinubu So Much – APC Fires Back

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has said that it is unfazed by allegations made against President Bola Tinubu by former Vice President and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

The APC claimed that Atiku harbours deep animosity towards Tinubu because, according to them, he believes Tinubu was responsible for his electoral woes in 2007, 2015, 2019 and this year.

DAILY POST reports that Atiku in a press conference in Abuja made several allegations against Tinubu which were based on the documents he obtained from the Chicago State University.

The APC, in a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, said that Atiku delivered nothing except the pitiful regurgitation of lies, mindless distortions and deliberate falsehood on his infantile obsession with the academic record of Tinubu

The party said that Atiku has been out there for several weeks now, displaying utter desperation in his bid to become the President of Nigeria.

The APC said that Atiku’s press conference was a calculated attempt to whip up public sentiments and inordinately pressure the Supreme Court.

According to the party, “We believe Alhaji Atiku Abubakar should have known better than to demonstrate gross contempt of the highest court by making public comments on a matter that he has submitted to the court for adjudication

“The major takeaway from his Yar’Adua Centre show, especially at question time, was that Atiku harbours deep animosity towards Tinubu whom he believes was responsible for his electoral woes in 2007, 2015, 2019 and this year.

“There is also no part of Mr. Westberg’s deposition where he said that the certificate President Bola Tinubu presented to INEC for his election is fake or was forged.

“All the insinuations and innuendos in this regard are pure mischief and should be disregarded. President Tinubu could not have forged a University degree he honourably earned because there is no advantage to derive from such and no incentive to do so.

“In desperation, unbecoming of a statesman who once occupied the second highest office in the land, the PDP candidate in the last election has thrown every decency, decorum, dignity and national respectability out the window on his purposeless judicial voyage of discovery to the United States in search of a magic wand for taking power against the will of the Nigerian electorate loudly expressed in last February’s presidential election.

“Alhaji Atiku Abubakar holds the unenviable title of Nigeria’s most prolific election loser and longest running presidential candidate in history, and we see his recent US fishing expedition as the last kick of a roundly rejected presidential aspirant.

“While we sympathise with Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for spending a lifetime pursuing an unrealised dream, we strongly condemn the perfidious road he has taken and the needless negative exposure of Nigeria and the institution of the Presidency in foreign land.”

“Just for the record, we wish to provide some clarity on the matter of the deposition of Mr. Caleb Westberg, the Registrar of Chicago State University, last Tuesday under oath at the Chicago office of Atiku’s lawyer, Angela Liu, to save unsuspecting Nigerians from barrage of untruths, distortions and campaign of misinformation being dished out by Atiku and his PDP Mr. Westberg was unmistaken and unambiguous in his deposition as to the fact that President Bola Tinubu graduated with honours from Chicago State University. He also emphatically provided clear answers on all other issues raised which we can sum as follows:

“That the person who is Nigeria’s president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is the same person who attended Chicago State University.

“He confirmed that a certain gentleman called Adeniji who had come forward to say he was Tinubu’s classmate was in fact a student at CSU at the same time and they both ran for student union positions.

“Mr. Westberg said the diploma certificate, on which the PDP and Atiku seek to gaslight Nigerians and the whole world, is just a ceremonial document and what proved studentship at Chicago State University and in any American university is transcript, not certificate.

“It should now be clear to all Nigerians that despite Atiku’s lies before the Illinois Court that he wanted to use the discoveries in pursuit of his appeal at the Supreme Court, he has rather chosen to use same as an instrument of mischief and blackmail in clear contempt of the highest court of the land,” the party said.

Teacher Arrested For R@ping 12-Yr-Old Boy, Reveals She's Pregnant

A teacher who was exposed for allegedly having s3x with her 12-year-old student claims she is “pregnant” and is “going to raise this baby”.

Alissa McCommon, 38, from Covington, Tennessee, was arrested late last month (September 2023) and charged with r@pe of a child after making contact with the little boy via SnapChat.

The former fourth grade teacher at Charger Academy was in court on Tuesday, Oct. 3, with the hearing focusing on a series of texts and phone calls that the mum-of-two allegedly had with the victim.

In one call, the teacher claimed that she was pregnant and ready to bring child number three into the world.

“I’m going to raise this baby. I can do this,” she stated on the recording played in court.

She previously warned the boy he would “regret” telling cops about their relationship.

Authorities have not officially confirmed whether McCommon is pregnant, nor whether the 12-year-old boy is the father.

She also hinted at being pregnant in a separate text message. “I have to tell you something that is serious and huge that deals with you,” she wrote according to local news outlet, Fox 13.

“This was a mistake, this is my burden. OMG delete this number, please don't get me in trouble,” another alleged text from McCommon read. “I will never text you again. You will never hear from me again, just please don't say anything,” the ex-teacher could purportedly be heard saying on an audio clip.

She was fired from Charger Academy at the beginning of 2021 after being accused of having s3x with the former student in her home. She also allegedly had s3xual correspondence with several other students including sending n*de pictures of herself and asking them if they wanted to have s3x, according to Covington Police Department.


McCommon was booked back into the Tipton County Jail, and is due back in court on Monday, November 27.

OAP Nedu’s ex-wife Uzoamaka Ohiri once again sparked several reactions online following an old video of her that resurfaced online.

Recall in September 2021, OAP Nedu Wazobia while reacting to allegations of domestic violence levelled against him by his ex-wife, Uzoamaka Ohiri got social media abuzz as he shared a DNA test confirming that the first child wasn’t his own as it belonged to another man.

Nedu Wazobia and his ex-wife met each other in 2012 while she was serving (NYSC) got married in 2013. They add 3 children a son and 2 girls.

Reacting to the allegation of paternity fraud, Uzoamaka told the publication: “I did not cheat on him from the first day he walked into my life till he left. I was never with any man. I can swear on it.

“Before I met Nedu, I was seeing somebody; I was in a relationship; he was on the side, disturbing me.

“There were a couple of times he had invited me to Lagos and this was my service year in 2012. He had invited me to Lagos a couple of times and I turned it down.

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak asserted his stance on gender identity in a speech Wednesday, stating it was “common sense” that “a man is a man and a woman is a woman” — a remark that sparked criticism from transgender rights activists and elicited fervent applause from attendees of the Conservative Party Conference.

After promising to legislate that “s*xual and sadistic” killers would spend their lives in prison, Sunak listed other positions he said “shouldn’t be controversial,” including “for parents to know what their children are being taught in school about relationships.”

“Patients should know when hospitals are talking about men or women,” Sunak continued during his closing speech at his party’s annual gathering, held this year in Manchester. “And we shouldn’t get bullied into believing that people can be any s*x they want to be. They can’t. A man is a man and a woman is a woman — that’s just common sense.”

In April, Sunak made headlines for agreeing with a conservative interviewer’s suggestion that all women — rather than 99 percent — “haven’t got a pen*s.”

He took a less strident tone at the time, stating that “we should always have compassion and understanding and tolerance for those who are thinking about their gender,” but that “the issue of biological s*x is fundamentally important” to women’s rights and women’s spaces.

In June, PinkNews, a British news outlet that covers the LGBTQ+ community, accused Sunak of mocking trans women as it published what it said was a secretly recorded video of the prime minister talking during a meeting with conservative MPs.

In the video, a man purported to be Sunak is heard joking that Liberal Democrats party leader Ed Davey “has been very busy” trying to “convince everybody that women clearly had joysticks.”

“You all know I’m a big fan of everybody studying maths at 18, but it turns out that we need to focus on biology,” the man in the video said.

A spokesperson for the prime minister defended those comments, saying it was “a joke aimed at a political opponent rather than a specific group.”

While gender identity is a hotly debated topic among politicians in Britain, a survey from Ipsos, published in June, found that most Britons think transgender people face discrimination. A 2022 survey of about 5,000 Britons from the think tank More In Common also found that 46 percent of respondents agreed with the statement that “a trans man is a man and a trans woman is a woman.” Less than a third said they disagreed.

After Sunak’s speech Wednesday, India Willoughby, a prominent transgender newsreader, accused the prime minister of “putting people in danger and inciting threats to their lives” in a video posted to the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.

“We now have a British government and a prime minister that has said that it doesn’t recognize trans people,” Willoughby said. “If you don’t acknowledge a group of people exist, then obviously that group of people don’t have rights.”

More than 2,800 potential transgender hate crimes were reported between September 2001 and February 2022, according to data from the Metropolitan Police Service in Greater London. The number of reported incidents significantly increased starting in the mid-2010s, jumping from 75 incidents in 2013 to 428 in 2021."
