Craig’s Creative Soap Co. We are an all female, Native American family owned small business creating Artisan soaps and more. We keep the wants and needs of our customers in mind.

That is why we make custom orders for your particular skin care needs and or issues. You can reach out with questions about custom soaps, wax melts and more via Email @ [email protected] or send messages through the fb app. At Craig's Creative Soap Co, we are very mindful of what goes into our products. We keep it simple yet fun by using all natural ingredients like oat meal, honey, a

nd ingredients such as cranberry seeds for exfoliation, and natural oils and butters. We formulate and test our recipes in house to make sure each soap is mild, richly foaming, gentle on your skin yet leaves you feeling clean and refreshed. When you think of vegan or lye soaps the first thought is just a plain brown bar of soap right? Well we say... "Nope, soap doesn't have to be boring!" We use all natural clays and cosmetic grade mica to add color to our soaps, bath bombs and wax melts. We like to venture on the wild side. From colorful rainbows and black tie dye to all natural oatmeal and honey, we like to be creative with designs. We have several sales channels for our customers. We have booths located in several boutiques, a web page and we have pop up tents at local craft shows, farmers markets and arts festivals. We post regularly to keep everyone updated. Steaming off soda ash! Soda ash is a natural occurrence that happens on soap. 🧼 Soda ash forms on soap when sodium hydroxide (lye), which is used to make soap, reacts with carbon dioxide in the air. This reaction is more likely to occur in cool, damp environments, and less likely to occur in warm, dry environments. ✳️ Soda ash is a white, powdery coating that can appear on the surface of soap. It’s harmless and doesn’t affect the soap’s effectiveness, but it can make the soap look crumbly or obscure designs. Soda ash usually forms within 1–3 days. ✳️Here are some ways to prevent soda ash from forming: Cover with plastic wrap: After pouring the soap into the mold, cover it with plastic wrap to prevent the surface from coming into contact with air. ✳️Spritz with rubbing alcohol: After pouring the soap, spritz the top with 91% rubbing alcohol. ✳️Keep in a warm, dry place: Cure the soap in a warm, dry place to reduce the likelihood of soda ash forming. Some soap makers embrace the appearance of soda ash and consider it to be part of the process. Soda ash can also enhance the appearance of black and white soap, or create white waves on blue soap. 🌊 The soda ash is easily removed with a handheld garment steamer. WOW!!!!!!!’ 🌵 This soap was so much fun and my largest single loaf to make. It weighed over 8 pounds. Multiple succulents all different colors sit on top of multi colored “sand and dirt” I used soap shaving to make the darker “dirt” portion a little more lively! Plus it’s a great way to use soap shavings. Each bar is unique with multiple succulents.
