Hey artists and cultural workers! You are invited to participate in an important survey of the cultural workforce in the Puget Sound region to better understand the impact of the pandemic on individual creatives and cultural workers. The results of this survey will help in planning for the economic recovery of the cultural sector, with a particular emphasis on the cultural workforce.

For this survey, the cultural workforce is defined as those who do paid work associated with the delivery of arts and cultural experiences in the Puget Sound region. This includes technical and administrative positions as well as independent artists, teaching artists, contractors, and gig workers. It includes those who work in arts and culture part-time, temporarily, or seasonally.

The Puget Sound Regional Council is organizing this survey and has engaged BERK Consulting to conduct research and analysis to support the development of an Arts Economic Recovery Strategy. Responses are collected and aggregated by a third-party (BERK Consulting) and will not be identifiable of individual workers.

This survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete and will be open until May 13. We would value your participation!

We are excited to announce that we will be hosting our first annual benefit concert on December 11th 2021

The purpose of this concert is to raise funds that will increase ’s capacity to grow local companies, talent, and jobs in Tacoma. This will help us create equity in science opportunities, environmental initiatives, and workforce development in Pierce County.

RAIN is an advocate for our community and has been a gift to Tacoma these last couple of years ! It’s time we went in to work together and give back :)

We are selling VIP tickets and GA tickets ! Keep in mind the prices are high but it’s worth it ! You’ll enjoy food, drink auctions and fun 🤩

JAN GRADUATED WITH HONORS FROM THE ART INSTITUTE OF SEATTLE WITH A BACHELOR OF CULINARY ARTS MANAGEMENT AND AN ASSOCIATE OF BAKING & PASTRY. HER ALMA MATER SHOWCASED HER WORK IN A NATIONAL CAMPAIGN, “CREATE TOMORROW”.
