Wires Don't Talk

Wires Don't Talk Exploring the artistry of anime, manga, and Japanese gaming Pat does all this while also being a husband, dog owner, and new father.

Pat is a YouTuber and content creator who loves music production, music history, and anime like JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. A native of the mile wide town, Avoca, PA, Pat went to Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY and made it his home after graduating with a degree in music. Pat is a music producer who has created jingles, theme songs, and background music for several clients as well as recorded and p

roduced for Syracuse bands including his own album and music projects. After honing his craft, he realized how much people enjoyed his analysis of music on YouTube as well as how much JoJo's Bizarre Adventure influenced both his music and creativity, so he created a series diving into how the musicians he studied have influenced the greatest Japanese manga ever created. In his spare time, Pat studies and practices speaking Japanese with Genki, LingoDeer, and watching his favorite sitcoms, Frasier and Seinfeld in Japanese. He strength trains, runs, and practices yoga in hopes to look like Joseph Joestar and he, of course, continues to make music in his home studio that creatively combine his favorite animes with his emotions and feelings. How does he do all this when there are only 24 hours in a day? All he can say is "Star Platinum, The World!"

This tux may be a rental, but the joy it represents? 100% mine.

As we close out the year, I can’t help but reflect on how much Wires Don’t Talk has grown, how I’ve grown, and how this community has made every step of the journey worthwhile. From the growing pains of figuring out my identity as a creator to embracing the moments of breakthrough, it’s been a year of stepping into the unknown and trusting the process.

Lately, I’ve been drawn to The Fool tarot card. It’s about leaping into the abyss, not with recklessness, but with confidence. It’s the trust that even though I don’t know where the road will lead, I have the skills to land on my feet. This year, I’ve felt like The Fool by taking risks, learning as I go, and finding my footing as I aim higher than ever before.

2025 holds so much promise: new projects, a stronger focus on this brand, a growing community, and even more opportunities to celebrate the art and stories that bring us all together. To everyone who’s supported me, laughed with me, or shared a part of your journey with mine, thank you. You’ve made this year unforgettable. It's time for me to yet again, jump into the abyss. Here’s to taking the next step together. Let’s make 2025 incredible.

Hey everyone! Every year I work with a local chocolate shop and help create content for their 12 days of chocolate holiday calendar. This year pushed me way out of my comfort zone, but I am proud of how they turned out. So, from today till Christmas, I will be sharing their posts. Happy Holidays!

Jotaro Kujo’s iconic trench coats have always been a part of what makes him such a memorable anime character. He’s bold, stylish, and confident. Inspired by that, I’ve often thought about mimicking the same style to embody the anime heroes I admire. If I’m being honest with myself though, my love for Disney sweatshirts and over the top Crocs doesn’t exactly fit the aesthetic.

That’s the thing about identity, it’s not something you can just copy. The anime Mononoke (now with a new movie on Netflix), captures this idea that identity is shaped as much by our insecurities and struggles as by our strengths. This series turns hidden emotions into haunting spirits, making you confront who you really are.

Recently, I was gifted this trench coat from my father-in-law. It’s a jacket he spent years working hard in. It’s not flashy like Jotaro’s, but it reminds me of resilience and purpose. As I move into 2025, I’m reminded that views, likes, or any vanity metrics mean nothing if I lose sight of who I am.

As Miyamoto Musashi once said: “There is nothing outside of yourself that can ever enable you to get better, stronger, richer, quicker, or smarter. Everything is within. Everything exists. Seek nothing outside of yourself.”

This season, I’m savoring the best of both worlds by diving into anime and exploring another creative passion while soaking up the charm of downtown Syracuse. I can’t wait to watch the new Mononoke movie and share my thoughts with everyone, but right now, I’m working on a special project for a local chocolate shop’s holiday lineup. Their gingerbread hot chocolate is keeping me focused as I enjoy the snowy weather.
🍫
Moments like these remind me how much I love what I do: combining storytelling, creativity, and inspiration, all while staying grounded in my community. Whether it’s anime, good chocolate, or my chilly city, it’s all part of this season’s creative journey.

Look Back is not for the faint of heart. It’s not just an emotional, powerful story—it’s a challenge to how you see the things you love. Tatsuki Fujimoto’s one-shot manga turned anime movie delivers a stunning and painfully real exploration of the creator’s journey. This is a must-watch for anyone with a passion—but only if you’re strong enough to face its message.
