I’m slowly figuring out that wrestling is more of a mental game than anything. I psyched myself out of my second match yesterday and I know I could’ve done better. I took a breather, reset and came out like a firecracker in my third match and went hard. My fourth (and final) match was TOUGH! He’s definitely the hardest kid I’ve wrestled yet, but ya win some, ya lose some. No point in dwelling, so just keep moving forward.

The day didn’t end terrible. I ended up finishing 2-2 and walked away with the 3rd place medal in my division, so not too shabby! 💪🏼
