For six innings last night, the Junior P-15's were on the verge of forcing a deciding Game 3 tonight against Socastee. They put up three runs in the first and took a 4-1 lead into the seventh. Then everything went wrong.

Two tough errors in the outfield opened the door for a 5-run inning from Socastee, who now advance to the state tournament after a 6-4 comeback win over the juniors from Post 15.

An incredible season for the Lady Legends came to an end last night after an excellent battle with Anderson.

The Lady Legends rallied to tie the game at 2-2 in the sixth only for the game to slip away in the seventh inning of the South Carolina American Legion Softball State Championship. An awesome summer of softball ends with just one tally in the loss column for the Lady Legends.
