I have been saying this for quite some time. There are studies to back it up. Do not under estimate the power or protein. Most Americans consume less than half the protein their bodies need. In a world where carbs are king, it is important to prioritize protein. Not just for optimal health and weight but longevity.

Do you consume enough protein? You should be getting 0.8 to 1 gram per lb of body weight each day, and/or aiming for 30 grams on average per meal.
