I have to take a minute to brag on my amazing husband, Shawn. He surprised me today with this wooden recipe book.

I’ve been wanting to get a custom one made forever with the idea that I would write down all of our favorite family recipes and then pass it on to our daughter someday!

I kept putting it off but my thoughtful husband made it possible. Thank you honey for such a meaningful and heartwarming gift that will be treasured for years to come. ( Sorry I cried like a baby when I opened it lol) I love you more!! 🥰😘

Do any of you other momma’s do this for your little girls? I think it would also be great as a future wedding gift for the boys wives 🤩

How would you feel if having total time freedom was how you got to live your life!?

What does time freedom look like??

It’s too risky 😬

I’ve heard people say these words when asking about working online. The thought even crossed my mind at one point.

Truth is-staying stuck where you’re at for the next 30+years without ever trying anything new is also risky!

Are you willing to risk your time and your future doing the same job day after day that leaves you unfulfilled?

Spend your life living for the weekends and those couple of weeks vacation??

What if that’s all there is for you? The thought of that to me is terrifying & a risk that I refused to take.

I’m thankful that I approached starting an online biz with an open mind and an obsession to better the lives of my family. It was a risk well worth it!

Confined within 4 cubicle walls asking permission to live my life…

Change can be painful. It can be overwhelming and uncomfortable.

One things for sure, change is inevitable.

It’s going to happen like it or not. Whether or not you grow from change is up to you.

Though it may be challenging, embrace change! It pushes you to evolve as a person. You will adapt though it may not seem like it in the moment.

Progress is only possible when we’re not afraid of what lies ahead.

Yeah we will make mistakes along the way, but learn from them-GROW! Work through each obstacle without concern of rejection or failure.

Change can happen in the blink of an eye but growth takes time. Be consistent, be patient, and show yourself some grace.

When you allow yourself to adapt, grow, & change, you open the door to a fuller life and a brighter future. So immerse yourself in experiences that you may not have considered before.

Remember: Growth starts with a decision for change.

We didn’t have the money. We didn’t have any marketing experience. We didn’t have time to breathe much less start a business…

But we knew that we were meant to do more, be more, to help people.

We knew there had to be a way of living that offered more than barely getting by, living paycheck to paycheck, not having a nest egg put back for emergencies.

We knew we were working way too much to not have much to show for it. We knew nothing would change if we didn’t take a chance & try something completely different.

So with money that we didn’t have, we took a leap of faith and started an online business 💻.

Were we nervous? ABSOLUTELY! But the thought of our situation staying the same made us even more uneasy than the unknown.

We did it & it’s working for us! Because of taking that risk we’re able to spend more time with our family. We’re able to homeschool. We have flexibility with our schedules, and we’re able to help others like YOU do the same ✨

I found myself constantly daydreaming of a different life...

A life where I could wake up and have a cup of coffee with my husband on the porch instead of rushing off to that long commute to a place where I constantly felt underappreciated and undervalued. A life that allowed me to be there when the kids got on the bus to school or gave me the option to homeschool them.

In reality, I woke up before the crack of daylight, threw my hair in a bun, put on my scrubs, and headed out the door. I’d pull into the parking lot still half asleep contemplating whether or not I really needed my job. But, the reality was that I needed the security. So day after day I punched that time clock feeling burnt out and stuck, living each day on repeat.

With every sound of a bed or chair alarm and each hall lit up like a Christmas tree with patients needing my help, I longed for an escape from this soul-sucking reality that was depleting me of all my energy and happiness.

My feet ached, I had constant migraines, and my back wasn’t going to be able to continue lifting, pulling, and tugging for much longer. With my name being called in ten different directions at once, I kept going with the sweetest smile on my face that I could manage until my relief came in to take my place for the next shift.

Some days I’d work 8 hours. On other days, I would work 12 or even 16-hour shifts. With the constant staff shortage, I never knew what time I’d get home to my family. I’m grateful that my husband was home to fill in as “mom” until I could get home but he worked long hours of back-breaking work too.

I was missing out on so much time with the kids that I would never get back, we both were! With basically living at work and visiting our home on occasion, and feeling like teachers and relatives were raising our kids, we felt defeated. We had no quality time together as a family. No time to slow down and just breathe. Our life was suffocating us and we needed a major life alteration.

We started looking for options. We live in a digital, technology-driven world so it was no surprise that we found our solution in the online space. We came across an ad similar to the one you’re reading now. Our initial thought was, “It sounds too good to be true.” On the other hand, nothing was going to change if we didn’t try something.

We put all, “what if’s” aside and took an impulsive leap of faith. We asked for more information and to our surprise, a sweet lady responded to us and not an automated robot as we had expected.

She sent us a web class to watch that went over everything in detail about what we would be doing. The digital marketing blueprint was laid out before us. Once we saw it, we knew we had found the golden ticket. We were all in!! The lady who had enlightened us that our dreams were attainable became our friend and mentor. She helped us shift our mindset and held our hand through the whole process.

The outcome so far??

My husband and I are now business partners, living each day with purpose. We’re providing for our family while doing what we love and helping others. We have more time as a family to fish, explore nature, hike, take road trips, and grow a garden.

We can work in our pajamas and work from anywhere from our laptops. Soon we plan to transition to living on a modern homestead and my husband will be able to retire from his 9-5 in the near future!!

It’s okay to break the rules sometimes…

Dare To Imagine More For Yourself.

Do you remember who you imagined to be BEFORE the world told you who you should be??

What was the life that you dreamed of having? Are you living it now? If not, what happened? What held you back??

I personally lost sight of those aspirations. Those visions that I once saw so clearly seemed to disappear as life happened.

They were deflected by the reality of work, stress, raising babies, anxiety, providing…doing what society had drilled into my head was the blueprint to a successful life.

It took decades to realize that I was free and capable of creating my own blueprint. That a successful life looks different to everyone and that we are all on our own journey.

I didn’t HAVE to conform to society. There is no one way to live and it’s okay to step out of the norm and make your own normal.

It was possible for those dreams that I had forgotten existed to become my reality. I threw out the rules and made my own.

Once you dare to imagine more for yourself and take action to accomplish it there’s no turning back.

Stay focused on that vision.

I Don’t Have Time…

We hear those words daily. “I don’t have time for a side hustle. I don’t have time to build a business. I don’t have time to learn a new skill.”

Maybe those who feel this way are unaware that they’re also saying, “I don’t have time to supplement my income. I don’t have time to build a better life for my family. I don’t have time to learn something new that could give me more time with my loved ones.”

Your perspective can become your prison or your passport. By simply changing your view, you can change your life!!

I get it! We’ve all got so much on our plates. We’re already stretching ourselves thin.

We’re working, homeschooling, running errands, doing chores, harvesting & preserving, making sure everyone is fed and clean. The list goes on…

All you need is 1-2 hours a day to build a successful online business. That’s it! How long are you scrolling social media each day? Watching Netflix??

We didn’t believe we had time either when we started but we MADE TIME! We were hungry for change!

We didn’t have any experience but we learn as we go. We didn’t believe that we were capable of becoming successful but the results showed otherwise.

We had plenty of excuses but chose to take a leap of faith.

To me it’s having a feeling inside of you that you know without a doubt you have a higher purpose ✨

There’s a sense of urgency to find your calling because you know time is ticking ⏰

You’re willing to do whatever it takes to reach your goals. Even though you’re nervous & putting yourself out into the unknown, you’re excited at the same time.

You know great things lie on the other side of fear. You’re clear on your “WHY” and remain focused.

You drown out all negativity and keep pushing no matter what obstacles try to stop you.

Your Inner Drive is FIERCE & CONSISTENT 💪🏻

You already have everything inside you to manifest the life you want so GO FOR IT! GO ALL IN!!

Take that risk, Take Action, move forward into the unknown! You may find yourself there. You may find that what you were most scared of was exactly what you needed to change your life 💡

My mom always said I was a dreamer✨
She wasn’t wrong…

For as long as I can remember I had my life planned out. I knew what I wanted. I knew how I wanted to live. I knew what kind of person I wanted to be, and because of some potholes along the way, I knew exactly what I didn’t want and who I didn’t want to be like.

I took some hard lefts and strayed from my intended path. At times that person I had strived to become seemed to be unrealistic. I lost sight of her…

It took over 30 years before I found myself. God sent my husband into my life, He lead me back to my faith, and He let me know that He had never left my side.

My dreams were visible again, my path lit up in front of me. I’m on my journey now and I don’t walk alone!

The Lord guides me and my husband holds my hand. Our children cling by our side as we grow and learn together.

What a beautiful life we live! What an awesome God we serve!

My heart is full of gratitude for all of the many blessings. Our love, our close knit family, our business, and our future!

This past weekend I was able to be a part of something so special. I got to see one of my husbands dreams come true!! 🤩💖

By chance, we seen a post that Shawn’s all time favorite arm wrestler, Devon Larratt, was coming to our home state!

This was HUGE! He lives in Canada so we didn’t know when or if we’d have the opportunity again.

Soooo - We jumped in the car and drove 5 hours to meet him ✨

We got to the venue early and met some other world champion legends who quickly became our friends. We sat and talked, laughed, and exchanged phone numbers!

Devon walked through the door a while later and my husband’s eyes lit up. They shook hands, hugged, and talked for a long time. Shawn even got to pull with him!!

We spent the whole weekend elbow to elbow with these incredible people. They were so down to earth and modest about their fame and talents.

Shawn was already into the sport of arm wrestling and training and now I have also discovered a love for the art of pulling. 💪🏻

This is something new that we can share and practice together 🥰

People!! Go the extra mile to make your dreams come true! If it scares you then you should definitely do it!
