Welcome to Stillwater Current's page. I am Shawn Hogendorf, a local resident, community journalist and founder of Stillwater Current. I want Stillwater Current to become a trusted resource for people to find and share information, while respectfully discussing news that is relevant to life in the valley. I believe an engaged, informed and well-managed online community will grow stronger —
and make Stillwater a better place to live and do business. My hope for Stillwater Current is that it grows to become a sustainable, community-supported local news and information hub. There’s a lot going on around town — and I want to help share information, and encourage thoughtful online discussions about all things local. That said, many of the stories in our community are best told by you. I encourage you to share your news, photos, opinions, announcements and links to stories that are relevant to our community. Stillwater Current will feature posts written by local residents, business owners and civic leaders.
