Kyle Wiltshire-Author -The Dead Rock Stars
For years Jay Watson and Kyle Wiltshire wanted to write a book. You can’t watch as many movies together as they have and not have the itch to tell a story of your own. Their frequent phone calls to one another often involved pitches for possible stories they could write one day.
Most of the time these pitches were either very broad plot summaries like, “An eccentric family is trying to survive a zombie apocalypse together and hijinks ensue” or just scenes like, “What if a guy robs a bank, gets hungry, pulls into a drive-thru, and gets trapped there?”
Some of their ideas were good. Some were not.
After countless conversations and many ideas they feel like they finally found THE idea. This is not the time for details, but the story they’ve dreamed up is something that they feel a lot of people will love. It’s not just a story. It’s a universe. It’s called The Dead Rock Stars.
So, how can two creative minds work together to write a story? Jay and Kyle didn’t know, so on September 8, 2018, they met for the first time to concoct a plan. Much like their phone calls from years before, they pitched ideas and kicked around potential plot points.
Some of their ideas were good. Some were not.
Eventually, they mapped out a broad outline of where they wanted the story to go and broke it down into a few beginning chapters. Then they divided up the chapters and made assignments as to who would write what.
This is only the beginning for this duo. The road to completing the story is long but there’s no telling what the future will hold for this pair. Exciting days lay ahead.

Michael Godin- Author, Plastic Surgeon
Dr. Michael Godin is a facial plastic surgeon with a passion for storytelling. While he loves the world of plastic surgery, he also has a creative side that has been developing since he was a child. Putting those two areas together, and knowing what it feels like to be on the other side of the knife and the needle, he writes books that take his readers inside the world of medicine and surgery in a fascinating way.
Godin comes from a family of avid readers and, in a sunny upstairs bedroom of a solidly middle-class home in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley, his love of literature thrived. He was captivated by the adventures of Dr. Dolittle, Frank Merriwell, The Hardy Boys, and Lad: A Dog. He received as a birthday gift Alfred Hitchcock’s Spellbinders in Suspense, and he loved it, reading the short scary stories over and over. Roald Dahl’s Man from the South was one of them, and through it he learned the power of a story to haunt its reader. Then he read Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, which became his favorite book. A lifelong love of reading had been established.
What Godin didn’t know at the time was how much learning to write persuasively would help him in his medical career. He has written over 20 scientific articles and a bestselling surgical textbook. While he always found time to write, Godin’s ultimate goal was to create works of fiction. He survived surgical training during the 1980’s at the beginning of the HIV pandemic, which is when his current novel, The Big Prick, is set. He learned to operate and surf, continued to write, and took good care of his patients. The year’s experiences culminated in his creation and release of Surgery Survival Guide: A Manual for Interns and Precocious Medical Students, which sold at medical bookstores throughout the US and Canada. He now practices facial plastic surgery in Richmond, Virginia, and Southern California.
Michael Godin is also the author of Fighting Gravity, a soon-to-be-re

Andrea L. Wehlann Yoga instructor
Today, Andrea L. Wehlann is a bestselling author and poet. She’s a highly regarded expert in yoga - a Certified Hatha Yoga Teacher. She’s also a social worker with a BA in Psychology from Brock University and a Social Services Diploma from Niagara College.
As accomplished as Wehlann is, she makes clear that she has faced and triumphed over - many struggles, too. Her source of dedication to spiritual healing derives from surviving childhood mental, physical and emotional abuse, as well as surviving rape, sexual
assault and infant loss. The hugely traumatic things she lived through as a child and young person led to her experiences with bulimia, depression, and suicidal tendencies. The fact that she found positive ways to make it through all of that combined with her professional knowledge makes her not only a true inspiration - but a passionate teacher and unique leader in the wellness space.
She shares her unique insights derived from both the personal and the professional in her three impactful books.
-Deeper Days: 365 Yoga-spirations for Inner Calm Amidst Chaos (“a lovingly crafted book to get you moving through the world with love, to help you take a moment to breathe, and find stillness in daily reflection. It guides you along your yogic path to realizing your divine potential.”)
-No Matter How Dark The Stain: Poems and Inspiration for the Woman in Pain (“Essentially a collection of love poems for anxious people, it meets people in their darkest space and gives a breath of life to the pain and feelings that haunt us and keep bad patterns recurring.”)
And….
The most recent is Stillness In The Storm, subtitled “A Conscious Daily Journal of Yoga & Spiritual Healing,” a book Andrea created to help readers do just that: “to let mind and spirit intersect and to celebrate the power of hearing the heart in the here and now.”
