Trail Canyon Falls is a beautiful, easy-to-navigate, waterfall hike in Angeles National Forest. The first half of the hike is shaded and includes a couple of water crossings. The trail meanders through the mountains following the creek and is a pleasant hike. The views of the waterfall are spectacular.

In Malibu, California you will find the Edward Albert Trail through Escondido Canyon Natural Area that leads hikers, mountain bikers, and equestrians to a 3.5 miles through oaks and riparians woodland, and sage scrub to the spectacular, multi-tiered 150-foot Escondido Falls—the highest in the Santa Monica Mountains.

Midway to the top of Angeles Crest highway. In this wooded canyon you can choose trails up or down the stream that cut through the mountains. ⛰️
Air is usually clean and visibility is far and wide. If you go (as most do) downstream to the falls, you’ll find this leg is an easy wide trail with a low grade.

The song says “Don't go chasin' waterfalls”, but I still went to see a waterfall anyways, to beat the heat😍

A relatively easy hike up a canyon in the lower San Gabriel Mountains to a 40-foot waterfall. This popular trail can get crowded on the weekends, but is still worth a visit – especially in the spring when wildflowers take over the lower portions of the canyon floor. Suitable for adventurous beginners, this trail has several stream crossings, a 3.8miles trail, 592ft elevation and a less than 2hours hike back and forth if your not stopping to get pictures and videos along the way🤭
A must-see for waterfall lovers, and it’s so darn close to the city that you really don’t have any excuses not to go.
