I am happy to report that we are back online with music today. I will be adding all the hosts back in soon, right now the station is being revamped a little bit and we just installed it on a new computer which will hopefully last several years to come. The Oasis is now under the umbrella of Community Broadcasting of St Charles County, along with our future FM 102.1 The River, which will be on the air next month. Both stations will provide local news, sports, and weather from the KMRV Newsroom, and more local programming to come soon on the The Oasis - OasisRadio.US !

Sadly, the old computer that has ran The Oasis for many years just up and died on us, so we are temporarily on hiatus until I get the time to sit down and get the new computer up and going which should be within the next week, Meanwhile, please check out our new FM station in St Charles 102.1 The River featuring smooth favorites of yesterday and today and many of the same hosts you enjoy on The Oasis... This community station gives a very good explination of underwriting announcements and how they can be an effective way to promote your business on a non for profit radio station. We have to adhere to certain rules as this is not :"advertising," but a thank you for supporting the operations of 102.1 FM KOAX The Oasis. Our goal for initial construction and startup costs is $15,000. Our goal is to be on the air by late spring 2024.

Going to be moving some programs around right after the new year - Wilhite and Wall to 5-9AM; John and Heid will go from 11a-2pm; Van Camp and Morgan 2-6pm; 6-9PM Terry Dean; 9-Midnight Cindy Scott.... Metro West Mornings with Michael B coming soon 9-11AM from the studios of The Oasis in St Peters. There will be plenty of fun, guests talk about what is going on in St Charles and West County and of course plenty of great Quality Rock of yesterday and today.

The Oasis - St. Louis is coming to FM in St Charles County mid 2024, and adding local news, sports, and weather coverage as well as specialty shows in the evenings and weekends from many local voices expanding on our diverse adult rock music format. We are being operated now by a Missouri Not for Profit Corporation, Community Broadcasting of St Charles County... RIP Olivia Newton John...

Dame Olivia Newton-John (73) passed away peacefully at her Ranch in Southern California this morning, surrounded by family and friends. We ask that everyone please respect the family’s privacy during this very difficult time.

Olivia has been a symbol of triumphs and hope for over 30 years sharing her journey with breast cancer. Her healing inspiration and pioneering experience with plant medicine continues with the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund, dedicated to researching plant medicine and cancer. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made in her memory to the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund (ONJFoundationFund.org).

Olivia is survived by her husband John Easterling; daughter Chloe Lattanzi; sister Sarah Newton-John; brother Toby Newton-John; nieces and nephews Tottie, Fiona and Brett Goldsmith; Emerson, Charlie, Zac, Jeremy, Randall, and Pierz Newton-John; Jude Newton-Stock, Layla Lee; Kira and Tasha Edelstein; and Brin and Valerie Hall.
