One of the first questions I'll ask my clients, and one of the first questions you should be asking yourself, is "How does this provide value?" 🤔
When it comes to growing any kind of account, I don't think there's a way around this question. There's no opt-out option, and I don't see an account having longevity without it. The good news is that there are many different ways you can provide value to your audience! The best course of action will depend a lot on your niche and target audience, of course, but let's discuss a few ⬇️
- Information: The internet is filled with wonders these days, but information will always be king. People will always be in pursuit of knowledge in any given subject. Yes, they can Google it, but if they're already on social media, chances are YOU have a chance to be the educator.
- Ideas: This one goes right along with the first point. If you can consistently provide the masses with cool, fun, or clever ideas, you are providing them value. It's likely you'll retain that audience because they'll always want to know what you might think up next.
- Entertainment: Providing people with laughs, wows, whoas, or even tears—entertainment will always be important on social media. Dance videos, singing, sports, stunts, pranks, comedy, Mukbangs, ASMR, etc. There's a good chance that no matter how odd or even cringey something might seem, someone's going to want to see it. The sky is really the limit with this one.
