This sensory-friendly performance of the comic opera The Pirates of Penzance from Opera Theatre of Saint Louis is a perfect introduction to opera for kids and teens! It's designed for children and teens in grades 3 through 12, and the performance is free. Registration is limited for this October 19 performance at Ritenour High School.

Purina Farms has launched a new reading program for kids called Paws for Books! This free program offers children K-8 the opportunity to read to a CHAMP Therapy Dog to practice their skills in a calming, library-like environment, which can benefit all readers, but especially those who get a little anxious ready to people. Paws for Books is happening on the first and third Fridays of the month from 3:30-4:30 p.m. at Purina Farms. Get more info at the link!
