It’s giving warm and fuzzy feelings 🥹❤️
Hey Daddy, it’s me again 🥲 jk! The truth is I don’t make art full time. I do struggle balancing it with my responsibilities at home and with my role as a software engineer amongst other things.
Nevertheless, each moment dedicated to art is cherished, for my passion for creating runs deep. Grateful for my job that supports my artistic endeavors and my loved ones as I strive to make time for what fuels my soul ❤️

What an incredible experience being part of the Kre8tive Art Expression Exhibit at Kre8 Place! The event was a true celebration of local talent in St. Louis!
We had an art reveal, unveiling of murals that adorned the space. The colors and imagery were simply captivating, immersing everyone in a world of creativity.
Not only that, but the event also marked the debut of Kre8 Place’s art gallery. It was a joy to see the space filled with artworks from our talented local artists. The variety and skill on display were truly inspiring.
And let’s not forget the fashion show! It added another layer of excitement to the event, showcasing the intersection of art and fashion in a stunning way.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to all my fellow artists for their incredible support and inspiration. It was an honor to be part of such a talented community.
A big thank you to Kre8 Place for providing an immersive and supportive space for our talents to thrive. You’ve created a hub that fosters creativity and brings our community together.
Looking forward to future collaborations with all of you. Let’s keep pushing the boundaries of art and creating magic together!

Here are five mistakes that I made as a beginner artists and the lessons I’ve learned from it: . . 1. Comparing Yourself to Others: It’s natural to look at other artists’ work and feel discouraged or inadequate. However, constantly comparing yourself to others can stifle your creativity and hinder your progress. Instead, focus on your own growth and unique artistic voice, and celebrate your own progress. . . . . . 2. Neglecting Fundamentals: Building a strong foundation is crucial for any artist. Often, beginners overlook the importance of learning fundamental skills such as composition, perspective, color theory, and anatomy. Spend time studying and practicing these basics to establish a solid artistic base. . . . . . . . .. 3. Fear of Making Mistakes: Mistakes are an essential part of the learning process. Embrace them as opportunities to grow and experiment. Don’t be afraid to take risks and explore different techniques and styles. Remember that every great artist started as a beginner and made plenty of mistakes along the way. .. . . . . . . . . . . 4. Impatience with Progress: Becoming a skilled artist takes time and practice. It’s easy to feel frustrated or discouraged when progress seems slow. Remember that improvement is gradual, and each artwork is a stepping stone towards your artistic goals. Stay dedicated, practice regularly, and be patient with your own progress. .. …. … . . …. … … 5. Lack of Consistency: Consistency is key to developing your artistic skills. Many beginners start with enthusiasm but struggle to maintain a regular practice routine. Set aside dedicated time for art, even if it’s just a few minute
Save this ⤵️ I found myself struggling to draw where my strokes lacked precision, and my lines seemed awkward and disjointed. As my frustration loomed large, I decided to practice more, experiment, and get guidance from my fellow artists who have more experience than me.Here are 5 things I learned about drawing from my wrist:1. Precision and Control: Drawing with your wrist allows for greater precision and control over your lines and strokes compared to using your entire arm or shoulder. This is especially useful when creating fine details or intricate designs.2. Fluidity of Movement: By using your wrist, you can achieve smoother and more fluid movements, making it easier to create curves, arcs, and flowing lines in your artwork.3. Varied Line Weight: Your wrist provides the flexibility to adjust the pressure applied to the pen or pencil, resulting in varying line weights. This technique can be used to add depth, texture, and emphasis in your drawings.4. Hand-Eye Coordination: Focusing on using your wrist to draw helps develop hand-eye coordination, as you train your hand to follow the movements and details you observe in your subject.5. Minimizing Fatigue: Utilizing your wrist for drawing can help reduce fatigue compared to using larger muscle groups. It allows you to draw for longer periods without straining your arm or shoulder muscles.Remember, while drawing with your wrist offers advantages, it’s also important to incorporate other techniques and movements to create a diverse range of strokes and styles in your artwork.
