Cedar Fort Publishing & Media We are an online bookstore that specializes in products that inspire and enrich families. In 2015 he bought the company and is now the owner and CEO.

Inspired by his desire to publish virtuous and praiseworthy content into the world, Lyle Mortimer began Cedar Fort Publishing in 1986 in Springville, Utah. His son, Bryce Mortimer, grew up immersed in the company, always feeling impressed that one day it would be his work to build on the foundation set by his father. We’ve been getting questions. 😂

So, here it goes:

Is this affiliated with the show?

Not in any way, shape or form. Different creators, different women, different end product. Just different.

What is this exactly?

It’s a book of faith-promoting stories from ACTIVE women in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who love Christ and His gospel and who want to share their side of the story.

Why are you doing this?

There are a lot of reasons. It’s timely. The authors wanted their voices heard. It gives people who only know one side of the story the option to read the other side. As a company, we’re always looking for good content to put out in the world and we were excited about this.

We love this project. Almost everyone at Cedar Fort has read these stories, and we LOVE them. These women are remarkable and their stories are powerful. We’re proud to share them with the world.

Women Read Scripture: 365 Days of the Doctrine & Covenants is an excellent & thought provoking read. I love the format, which includes first a quote (from a prophet or church leader usually), then a D&C scripture and then a personal experience related by one of the authors. All these together help doctrines and principles in the Doctrine & Covenants easier to understand, as well as giving motivation & encouragement to live them. I read an e-book copy from Cedar Fort Publishing.
