You can save lives one pair of jeans at a time!

It’s really that simple. “Casual-Dress Days” or “Jeans Days” are an awesome way to engage your workplace in fundraising for a great cause like the Animal Protective League! Here’s how it works: pick a day or several days when casual attire can be worn around the office in exchange for donations toward toward the transformative care being provided to animals in need at APL. You can set the donation minimum for this fundraiser. Maybe it’s $5 or $10 or $15… that’s up to you!

When you’ve completed your fundraiser; whether it was 1 day or a several weeks long, you can make your donation to the Animal Protective League by writing a check to the Animal Protective League and hand-delivering or mailing it to 1001 Taintor Rd. Springfield, IL 62702. You can also bring a cash donation in an envelope to APL’s front office or make a web donation. Just make sure you let us know that you held a fundraiser so we can send you a thank you letter!

Unclog for Dogs!

APL is excited to announce a new partnership with our animal loving friends at Mike Williams Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning & Sewer!

For every drain or toilet unclogged, Mike Williams will donate 1lb of dog food to APL!

Today we received 40lbs of food from company representatives Lewis, and Ashley. “Bow” the dog was on hand to meet and greet and accept their generous donation!

Are your summers open, do you have flexible hours? Midwest Youth Services is looking for volunteers for our Friday Funday Series!
- Held on Fridays (except 7/4) over the summer.
- Hours: Approximately 8:15 or 9:30 am – 3:30 or 4 pm. Times vary depending upon the trip itinerary.
- Trips will be to Springfield & here in Jacksonville.
- Friday Funday is for youth 11-17 years of age.
- You can commit to one day, all events, or anything in-between!
