Temperatures could approach the upper 90's to triple digits... factoring in humidity, it will feel like 100° regardless. We'll be challenging several records too! 10:40am Radar - Seeing our first round of showers moving into Berkshire County... embedded thunderstorms with this not out of the question along with pockets of heavy rain.

Storm Timing:
11am-12pm: Showers maybe a weak thunderstorm
2-4pm: A line of showers and thunderstorms comes through with our cold front, best chance here for a strong to severe storm.

Main concerns being flash flooding caused by heavy rain along with damaging winds.

A beautiful start this morning with a gorgeous sunrise, and no clouds... however, it is warm and humid. Humidity will just continue to get worse throughout the day, as our shower and thunderstorm chances increase.

9:25am Radar - Fast-moving batch of heavy rain moving through Western Mass now... should be ending in the Berkshire's very shortly, then ending in the valley by around 11am-12pm

Friday I got to visit the 3rd graders from Southampton Road School in Westfield, and they blew me away! Asking such intelligent questions, and being so engaged while we talked about weather. Not only about the TV aspect of what I do, but the science and instrumentation and other branches within the meteorology field! Thank you for having me, it was very inspiring!

Sun is out and temps are climbing! Good sunshine for now, but later on, we will see a few hit or miss showers move through. Best chance is north of the mass pike. Free Music Friday at MGM is looking good, aside for the chance of a brief pop-up shower. We'll clear out and turn less humid tonight into tomorrow morning.

Good morning! A beautiful sunrise this morning with mostly sunny skies, and *some patchy fog. Temperatures starting a bit cooler than Yesterday morning. And dew points are also lower, so not as slap-you-in-the-face-humid, but still a touch of mugginess.

Today is a First Alert Weather Day as this Afternoon/Evening we could see some isolated strong to severe storms. Primarily between about 4-9pm. Main concerns being damaging wind gusts, and isolated flash flooding. Small hail cannot be ruled out too. Best chance for severe weather: I-91 and points west.
