A peaceful, uncluttered atmosphere filled with simple, beautiful playthings made of natural materials will surround the children. Wood, cotton, wool, silk and other objects from nature inspire many hours of happy play. r daily rhythm. Activities include morning circle times with live singing, storytelling, puppetry, poetry, music with a variety of musical instruments, book reading, art projects, seasonal crafts, large amounts of time outside, sand and water play, and many opportunities for creative and imaginative play. In a gently structured way, children will be given time to paint, draw, and bake (Wednesdays are bread making days), cook, garden, and contribute to daily chores throughout the week. Through the course of the year, we will celebrate the changing of seasons together with songs, games and seasonal activities. A sense of security and reverence for nature grow out of these daily, weekly, and seasonal rhythms and celebrations. Weekly fees are $160 and include all meals, snacks and materials from local and organic sources.
