11:30pm - I realized I hadn’t seen Mattie’s lunch bag since she got home from school. Needing to find it so that I could wash her lunchbox for tomorrow, I wondered if it maybe got left in the car, so I went out to look for it. It was there! I grabbed it and turned to head back inside, when out of the corner of my eye, I spotted this box that had been delivered and left so nicely almost directly behind the tire of the car, just a few feet back. It’s a Christmas present for one of the kids and the delivery driver must not have had time to consider the placement. They’re super busy this time of year, I’m not complaining. I’m laughing and grateful that Mattie left her lunch bag in the car, because otherwise this box would have surely been run over in the rush to head out to school in the morning, and then I would have been sad! Sometimes things happen for a reason!
