Finished up the Union Recap yesterday and came across this shot of Ted McKee at Union. This race was against Daniel Haynes. Ted had a .004 reaction time and Daniel had a .001 reaction time! Both cars were wheels up and Daniel ended up winning by just a few thousands of a second! Anyone thinking that SEGA is boring needs to just come to a race and find out how competitive it really is!

So I’ve gotten a lot of comments lately about T-shirts from the individual race teams. These shirts, and other merchandise items that they sell are one of the biggest ways for them to receive income to help offset their costs to be able to come to the races and compete. Most of these teams do not have an online shop set up for selling the T-shirts as it would cost money to set up the online shops and continue to operate it. So it’s all mostly sold at the track. But if you go on Facebook and search you will find the page that they have for their race teams. If you want to support them and rock some of the coolest shirts, go find them and see if they will be willing to ship to you. Or find them at the races to get one! These are just a few of the ones that I have and that are currently clean. lol
Also, go follow for all the official gear! And I am currently planning to make a few more designs to make a few more stickers to start with and eventually make some T-shirts as well.

Here’s some work I did for Weld Racing a few months ago! Personally, I think I could’ve done better, but that’s part of doing work like this. There will always be room for improvement. I could make a list of things I wish I would’ve done different, but at the end of the day, it still turned out great, and I am extremely thankful for Weld reaching out and giving me an opportunity!

Hey guys. I’ve seen some comments and stories where people like watching the recaps and having them on in the shop as good background noise. This is my second one, but I compile two races from last year and put all the cups in one video. No editing done with the exception of color grading. Perfect for that background noise of pure NA V8 goodness!

RIP Roger! You will be missed at the tracks!

It is with heavy hearts that we at CompetitionPlus.com announce the passing of Roger Richards, our Director of Photography for 25 years. He was a cornerstone of our publication and words cannot describe the loss we have suffered. There will be a celebration of life planned, and those details will be released at a later time by his family.

Hey guys, this is mostly for my SEGA family. This video was made by a friend of mine and I really like it. I feel that we need something like this for SEGA. So for the racers, I may start coming around and asking a few questions and this will be what it's for. This will take a lot and a lot of time, but im gonna try and make us a video like that. For any fans, if you see me come say hi and if you wouldn't mind being on video, I would like some fan perspectives also with some good enthusiasm.

Not a lot of people understand the amount of work that goes into a project like this. Im not sure if I can even pull it off. Almost any time you see a video like this, it is all shot and recorded by at least 2 to 3 people. So im going to give it a try, but I can't make any promises

Here’s a video I put together 10 years ago back when I went to my 2nd ever SEGA race at Union County Dragway. All I had was a GoPro and no real clue how to edit or anything. I had just met Quain Stott, and Donovan Stott that day and even though I had just met them they let me put my GoPro in their cars. This video isn’t that great in my opinion, but it’s awesome memories, and it also has some shots of the great Gene Cromer!

Let me know what you think…

Trying to find ways to make the recaps better as there is always room for improvement. Last year I was by myself when it came to getting all the footage and there just wasn’t enough time to do all the stuff that we needed for the recaps but I feel like despite being the only person videoing and all, I managed pretty well. Also, I didn’t have all the equipment I have now for this. I could’ve done some extra things but it would’ve taken enough time to where it would’ve taken away from the bare necessities. But now I’ve gained some equipment and can now start doing some extra things such as decent interviews. So this recap is the start of pushing myself to start bringing other perspectives into the recaps, and bring some personality into them. So if y’all would, comment below and let me know what you think of this one. It’s not where I want to be with them, but it’s a start. And if you have ideas of things you’d like to see, let me know. I’m always open to new ideas. I may not be able to do everything, but I can try.
