Being able to cut fast, doesn't mean that I rush the client.... Speed and rushing are not the same thing. A skilled barber can work quickly and efficiently *without* compromising the quality of the haircut or making the client feel rushed. Speed comes from practice, good technique, and familiarity with different hair types and styles. Rushing, on the other hand, implies a lack of care and attention to detail, which can lead to an unsatisfactory haircut and a negative experience for the client.

**Taper Cut Characteristics:**

* **Blended:** Seamless transition between lengths.
* **Clean and neat:** Generally a more polished and structured look.

**Wolf Cut Characteristics:**

* **Longer back:** More length in the back, often with noticeable layering and texture.
* **Voluminous crown:** Layers around the crown create height and fullness.
* **Shaggy layers around the face:** Framing layers, often wispy and textured.
* **More textured and less uniform:** A more relaxed and undone aesthetic.

**Transitioning Steps:**

1. **Grow out the back:** This is the most crucial step. Stop getting the back and sides trimmed as short. Let the hair grow to a length that can support the wolf cut's shaggy layers. This can take several weeks or months, depending on your hair growth rate and desired length.
