Everyone was excited for Tanner and Brooke’s first look. As you can see, close friends and family gathered in the windows to watch the sweet moment unfold, and the energy was so beautiful. This moment, like the rest of their day, was perfect. And not because of the beautiful sun or the tolerable winter temperatures, but because of the people. These two are incredible, and I still feel very fortunate to have gotten to capture their wedding day. Their story is powerful and full of hardship and even more full of love to overcome and I can’t wait to share more of it!

So it turns out that eyeglass repair and restoration is super cool! I had no idea what went into the process, but working with @northwest_frame_repair has opened my eyes (see what I did there?) to everything that goes into it, and there’s a lot! I definitely recommend checking them out if you’re in need of repairs. And they will soon have an amazing assortment of vintage frames on their site!

It’s come a long way since this moment, but this is the official “breaking ground” event for my parents’ new house! (Because it’s not official until the homeowner does it with a golden shovel, right!?). I’m headed over there today to see the house for the first time since it’s been finished! I never know if some of the new ideas I try will work, but I like to try and see what’s possible and push myself to learn new things and techniques. Every project I film I hope to leave the experience better than when I started. This little clip is an example of an idea I’ve been playing with. Transitioning from daytime clips to night. This one isn’t perfect, but I think it turned out pretty cool! I’ll definitely be trying more like this in the future. In fact, I’ve got one coming for a real estate shoot I did, so be on the lookout!
