This is a tough love message to recieve.
Why does scripture tell us we should rejoice in OUR sufferings? Jesus suffered more than most for humanity’s sake.. and even though..he rejoiced in it!

The Bible encourages believers to "rejoice in their sufferings" because it views suffering as a means of spiritual growth, a way to become more like Christ, and a path to ultimate glory, even though the suffering itself isn't joyful; it's the hope and purpose behind it that brings joy, especially when we trust that God is working through our trials to produce positive outcomes in our lives and character.
