How do you like seeing blanks?? Lined up, rolling on video, disco lights and a dance party??

I’ve been enjoying macro photos of my blanks and may do more. The outside can be fun but it’s the inside that counts!!

So getting them turned up or at least doing a cross cut to see the middle is a great way to get an idea of the final product.

“Atomic Sunset”

I like my blanks to read simply from a distance. This is a yellow blank.. but on closer inspection you find swirls, movement, hues, clear pockets, wisps, golden sparkles.

It’s actually about 7-8 pigments despite “just” being yellow 😊💚

Welcome to my page 😊 I figured it was high time to stop spamming my friends and family with gratuitous pen content and formally introduce the studio on Facebook!

I am a Father, full-time Nurse Anesthetist and love to make cool things in my “spare time!”

It has almost been 2 years since I made my first pen on my Grandfather’s lathe (after restoring it). Last spring I started casting urethane resin pen blanks (the material I use to make most pens now). Soon after I was able to make my first fully custom fountain pen.

With YouTube, the IAP forums, and countless generous pen maker mentors on IG, my skills and business have grown rapidly. It’s hard to believe how fast it has all changed and grown 💚

I want to thank my wife, Katy, for helping me in this endeavor while we raise our young family. It has been challenging and rewarding 🙏🏻

There is so much to share and talk about. I owe many of you my deepest gratitude for supporting me and purchasing many of my early works. I pray they serve you well for many years!

My First Fully Bespoke Fountain pen: black and green with a black jowo 6 nib
