In October of 1962, the U.S. discovered that Russia had placed ballistic missiles in Cuba. The missiles were about 1,700 miles from the U.S. Capital. This was the closest to full-scale nuclear war the world has ever been. We saw the potential for this threat a year earlier during the failed invasion of Cuba known as the Bay of Pigs.

Kiev is less than 500 miles from Moscow and prior to the invasion Ukrainian president hinted at rebuilding the countries nuclear arsenal.

Two wrongs don't make a right but there is no moral superiority here. Blessed be the peace maker.

Politicians, who for decades, have used their power and influence to enrich themselves while We the People watch our wealth disappear. The people in congress are not your friends and they are not your coworkers.

We did not vote for you to pander to special interest groups.

We did not vote for you so you can rule over us from a distant city.

We elected you to represent our interests, the interests of the Free People of South Dakota. And our interest is to remain free.

BREAKING: strikes down for large employers, upholds mandate for healthcare workers. Here's my quick take.

Anytime someone says "The Government Should ______" it needs to be followed by "by using violent and deadly force."

For example:
"The government should stop murder by using violent and deadly force."

"The government should stop rapes by using violent and deadly force."

"The government should enforce traffic laws by using violent and deadly force."

"The government should enforce mask mandates by using violent and deadly force."

"The government should provide free college by using violent and deadly force."

Now, you might say that I'm being hyperbolic but with the possible exception of the last one everyone of these is directly true.

In the case of the last one, we don't have free college in the US but if we did it would be funded by tax dollars. And the government does use violent and deadly force to force people to pay taxes.

When someone says "the government should" what they are saying is that there isn't enough demand for this thing for it to be commercially viable and the issue isn't worthy enough for people to freely donate money to solve the problem but the need is so great that it is worth taking human life.

So, it is okay to fund the national guard by force and coercion but to fund it freely, willingly and voluntarily is now going to be illegal?

The federal government FAILED to secure our southern boarder and left the states to fend for themselves. When Governor Noem sent 50 national guards men to help Texas secure the southern boarder with a private donation she demonstrated that the utility of the Federal Government is fading.

For the longest time one of the biggest arguments for government was that without it we wouldn't be able to have a military. This proves that notion wrong.

This is nothing more than the Federal Government continuing to establish a monoply on violance.

"Year-round sales of E15 have been limited because the fuel has been ineligible for the 1-psi Reid v***r pressure waiver that allows the sale of certain ethanol fuel blends at 10 psi during the summer ozone season. The Reid v***r pressure waiver is a measure of the volatility of gasoline.

As a result, E15 has been subject to a stricter summertime volatility limit of 9 psi than E10, which is eligible for the waiver and can be sold at 10 psi."

Several agriculture and biofuels interest groups asked EPA Administrator Michael Regan to consider changing summer gasoline blendstock regulations to allow for year-round E15 sales.
