High temperatures are once again expected to be in the mid to upper 90s especially in southeastern Nebraska. We could see some isolated to scattered severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening as well.
Happy Memorial Day everyone! For most of us it will be dry but windy with gusts up to 35 mph. We have seen showers and storms early on today in Northeastern Siouxland and we could see another round this afternoon. Some of those PM storms could turn severe.

A conditional severe weather risk is in play today as a strong storm system moves east. This system could cause funnel clouds and maybe even some landspouts to form. Remember if a tornado warning is issued, take cover immediately!
