This is the bulking out a retention pond for the interstate. A few short hauls to a bridge abutment, also raising grade of the intersections around the bridge. The side dumps can strategically place 900 loads before we even run a piece of equipment besides the Ole 950 tugging Ole boy in truck #172 after every load, I'd say we're doing alright!

Who would be interested in having a diorama display coffee table being made by yours truly. I have been gathering supplies for a permanent coffee table layout. Ive purchased the materials and models over the past couple of months, I'll end up putting the coffee table up for sale. It won't be a $10,000 set up like some other guys, although I ensure it will be detailed and will look great in any man cave or office!

Usually we don't work night shifts, although with the new light plants, we've been staying after dark. The Boss is pushing for 4,500 yards a day... he must have plans laid out for a new truck after this stretch!

Loading out a section of overburden with the we're continuing phase 4 on a hi-way project.

Establishing a road base, after passing results for compaction, we place 8" of gravel on top of geo fabric. We ran into a few soft spots that ended up getting cored out. At 9 feet below grade we'll set down geogrid and 1' 6" of stone to build off, capped with "6 of fines and filled to grade with good dirt!

Working the fill out with a d10t and a box scraper. Sometimes you get the scraper hands to keep their lips closed and fill their scrapers with looser dirt... hell i cant tell em every time, keeping the dust down with an old water truck. And mucking loads with the 740 haul trucks.
