I've neglected this page - a big apology to the 40 followers of this page. As summer winds down and we're still in these unprecedented challenging times, I'm going to be more active here and see what happens.
So let's get this started…
In response to the deaths of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and George Floyd, I joined Blackout Tuesday along with other Podcasters to shine a light on their deaths, to show my support for BLM, and pass the mic to allow voices of color to be heard.
As I prepared my next episode, “The Flag,” I hit the pause button, did some soul searching, record a few episodes - hit the pause button. Next thing I knew, it's been three months since I last published an episode on the Ship.
I decided to shoot for the top of my list of guests I'd love on the Ship. Join my special guest Ted Kaye and me as we talk vexillology, the study of the history, symbolism, and usage of flags.
