🚨BREAKING: Plans for the second annual Humor & Harmony Festival have officially been placed on hold, with the City of confirming that the highly anticipated event scheduled for March 2026 has been postponed to an undetermined date.
The update was confirmed Thursday following comments from Tom Arceneaux, who told KEEL News that the festival has not been canceled, but will not proceed as originally planned this spring.
“This is not a cancellation,” Arceneaux said. “It’s a postponement. We’ll have more to share once those discussions are complete.”
City officials say conversations are ongoing regarding the future of the event, including logistics, planning considerations, and the overall structure of the festival moving forward.
“The festival remains an important cultural event for Shreveport,” city officials said, noting that discussions are still underway to determine the best path forward.
The Festival made a strong impression during its inaugural run, combining live music 🎶, comedy 😂, food 🍽️, and community-centered experiences 🤝🏾 into a celebration designed to highlight culture, creativity, and unity in downtown Shreveport. Its return had been one of the city’s most anticipated events on the 2026 spring calendar.
Organizers have not yet announced a revised date, nor have additional details been released regarding refunds, lineup changes, or scheduling adjustments. Officials say those updates will be provided once planning discussions are finalized.
