Mason County will sponsor a CERT-Basic Course in Hoodsport at their fire station, March 29 and 30, and April 5 and 6. The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program educates volunteers about disaster preparedness for the hazards that may occur where they live. You will learn skills such as the incident command system, team organization, disaster psychology, fire safety and suppression, light search and rescue, and life saving skills.
