Experience what is unique and wonderful about the Hood Canal and South Puget Sound. The FJORD celebrates stories about individuals, examines our shared history as well as highlights local happenings and festivals. Join our writers on adventures where we discover local hikes and forgotten treasures and learn new ways to enjoy our backyard.
Print is dead? Never! In fact we have discovered that the print copies of the Fjord are trending more popular that the online content! So much so that we expanded the production of each quarterly issue and now have it available on WA State Ferries as well as the MV Coho, Black Ball Ferry from Victoria, BC as well as at 125+ locations ( yes, we counted them!) around Hood Canal and South Puget Sound. Readers enjoy holding a “real” copy in their hand and use it over each issue’s shelf life ( three months) as a reference and guide for local history, maps and events!
