As you all know, Mason Jar Productions was seemingly a photography page! I guess the vibe and words I used, that’s what it came off as. And not that it was a bad thing! I got to capture a handful of great moments and days for some people who will always have a special place in my heart for allowing me in as part of their day.

But, that’s not REALLY what I wanted this “brand” to be about. Yes, I enjoy photography, but my true idea and passion for Mason Jar Productions is to do more of the “production” side. But not just video. I want to be able to produce the best marketing and content I am capable of for you and your business/brand!

So, I am now going forward as “Mason Jar Productions: Digital Marketing/Content Creation Specialist.” Some of what I will be offering is listed down below, and photography is STILL there but it won’t be my main focus.

I don’t know yet what my packages will contain, what pricing will be, but everything is in the works! Slowly but surely.

This post is already so long, and if you have read up until this part you are a blessing. MJP will be a part-time side gig (for now?), so just keep that in mind:)

I think it’s time for a formal introduction!🫶🏻

My name is Mikayla and I’ve been doing photography and videography ever since I could hold a camera, but only started taking it seriously about a year ago.

Some facts about me:

🌙 I am a junior at UWS majoring in Multimedia Journalism with a focus in photo/videography.
🪐I absolutely love creating and editing the most special moments.
💫 My favorite book/movie series is Twilight. I’ve probably seen it a billion times, along with the Titanic. (Titanic is tied with twilight for my favorite movie)
☄️Lasagna is my favorite dish ever, but only if my dad is making it.
⚡️ I own three cameras! Nikon D3100, Canon EOS M50, and a Canon G7 x Mark ii !

I specialize in a little bit of everything; senior pictures, couples, family, individual shoots for if you simply just want pictures for Instagram;).
